Q. How easy is it to create and maintain a website using ChurchKatalyst?
A. That is one of the beauties of ChurchKatalyst. You can typically be comfortable with all of the basics of managing and updating content within an hour. We also provide an extensive online help manual and support forum to help ease your transition and get you up and running as quickly as possible.

Q. What if I already have a domain name?
A. Then you are already one-step ahead. We'll provide you the information necessary to point it to our servers. We are also happy to help you through that process.

Q. How do I manage my ChurchKatalyst website?
A. From any computer with Internet access and either Internet Explorer 5.5+ or Firefox, go to the web address that we will provide to you, enter your user name and password, and click "Login." This will take you to your ChurchKatalyst control panel where you can add content, manage your menus, upload photos, etc.

Q. How do I get my web hosting set up? How much does the hosting cost?
A. You don't have to worry about the web hosting. It is already included with your monthly fee. We install the system for you and then provide you access via the control panel.

Q. What new features will be added to ChurchKatalyst and how much will they cost?
A. We are constantly developing or evaluating new features for ChurchKatalyst. We operate on a quarterly release schedule and most new features will be added to one of the existing plans depending on the feature. We really value your input into new features that you desire, so please don't hesitate to let us know what you would like to see added to the system.

A. Absolutely not! We do that for you. Our desire is to be your ministry partner. We want to manage the complex behind-the-scenes work for you and allow you to focus on your content and on reaching your community.

Q. What kind of computer or operating system do I need to use ChurchKatalyst?
A. You don't need any special kind of computer. You can use ChurchKatalyst from most any computer including Windows' based computers, Macs, and Linux.

Q. Can I update my website from anywhere?
A. As long as you have Internet access and either Internet Explorer (5.5 or greater) or Firefox, then you are all set. Other browsers, such as Safari, will also work with ChurchKatalyst, but have not been fully tested. We personally recommend Firefox.

Q. How many logins can I set up for our volunteers and staff to help maintain the ChurchKatalyst website?
A. We don't limit the number of logins you can set up and we don't have any additional fees for extra logins. You are able to add additional users and control their access levels through the User Manager.

Q. Can I have the site be in a different language than English?
A. Yes. The ChurchKatalyst interface supports languages other than English. Contact us with your specific needs and we can explore the different options with you.
